Well I know there certain chests that drop certain items almost all the time, for example there is always a chest or two outside of VIzunah Square Local Quarter that drops Plagueborn weapons. Are there any other chests like this that people know of? That drop Celestial weapons? or Platinum weapons? just some for example.
It doesnt have to only be in Factions, but im just curious if anyone knows any chests that usually spawn generally close to an outpost and drop pretty nice weapons most of the time.

In factions, chests drop items depending on what mobs of enemies are near them. Chests that are near celestials, vermin, or kappa will drop celestial weapons fairly frequently. The plagueborn weapons you mentioned drop from chests that are near afflicted. chests near am fah or jade brotherhood will usually drop crap but rarely, you can get fans, jugs, and the like. If you want the highest chance at getting something somewhat valueable, I would go for the chests near the vermin in the skyway. In hm at least, they drop celestial weapons pretty frequently. If you want to take your chances and go for a rarer but more valueable item, you can try going for rare canthen items from am fah/jade brotherhood chests or golden phoenix blades/oni weapons from the forbidden chests (note that the forbidden chests also drop forbidden weapons pretty frequently... which can be somewhat valueable).

As said before..

Near amfah/jade/shiroken = Platinums / "Canthan" drops overall

Afflicked = Plagueborn

Kurzick foes = Kurz drops

Luxon Foes = lux drops

Outcast foes = Outcast skins

Vermins & Kappa & Temple guardians = Celestials

Ofc all of the skins have changes drop core skins also and canthan skins which drop everywhere like paper fans and jugs

My favorite place to farm Celestial weps are the chests outside Senjis Corner by the Vermins and past Shredder. Hardmode yeilds nice % Celestial drops and Elite Tomes. Usually 2-3 chests from Senjis through Xaquang Skyway to Buddeck Byway.
